Want to dig deeper? Here are some fun facts about my background that have influenced my interest and passion for understanding people and how they tick:

• I was an actor

  • going to an all girl’s high school, I was able to play all sorts of roles in high school, from Sweeney Todd to John Proctor, and thus began my yearning to study people. The best thing I learned in college was the "20 year friend" approach when meeting someone new; entering a conversation with a relaxed approach opens doors to finding out so much more about the person you're meeting.

• I write songs and design album art in my free time

  • after deciding that an acting career wasn't what I wanted to do, I began craving connecting in a new way: making music. This change opened a door to explore design again in the form of album art (something I hadn't thought much about since my days coding and designing guilds on Neopet pet pages in 2006).

• I’m a people person!

  • I consider my past work as a barista and an account manager VERY similar. My past work has all been first and fore-most, relationship building. I gain people's trust and loyalty quickly and authentically. I quickly pull key information from clients and get to the heart of what they really want - whether that's the coffee they're ordering or a feature improvement for the software they've purchased!
